How do you make the most of your budget? How do you make sure that the budget you have created will be enough for everything you want? Well budgets are not easy. I have been working at figuring out my own budget for a very long time now and well I still do not know my budget. BUT I have found some useful tips that are helping me come closer to figuring out my budget and how to make the most of it for my own wedding and I would love to share them with all the couples out there.
Figuring out your wedding date will help with the Larger part of your budget which is Venue for ceremony and reception. If you have your wedding Fri or Sat the pricing goes up but if you have your wedding Sun – Thurs the pricing goes down.
TYPE OF FOOD
Dinner can be very spendy so instead of serving Dinner try serving Brunch or doing a Cocktail style reception or Dessert Reception.
RENTING vs BUYING
If you looking for Linens and Decor for your wedding the best way to save is to Buy them then rent. When you buy decor items you can always give them out as Favors or resell them later to get your money back. Linens can always be reused in your future home, given as a thank you gift to your venue or even as favors to guest. You can also resell them too.
Hopefully these 3 tips help you figuring out your Reasonable and Smart budget and how to make the most of it. I know they have helped me out a ton!
